Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to feel confident ordering from Bamboo Origin. If something is not right with your order, please contact us before sending anything back so we can guide you through the correct return or exchange process.

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with original packaging where possible.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, email luoinsect@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The email address used at checkout
  • The item you want to return
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos, if the item arrived damaged or incorrect

Please wait for return instructions before shipping an item back. Items returned without approval may not be accepted.

Handmade Bamboo Variation

Bamboo is a natural material. Grain, color, diameter, tone, surface markings, and small shape differences can vary from piece to piece. These natural variations are part of the handmade character of each product and are not considered defects.

If you are unsure whether what you received is normal bamboo variation or a product issue, send us photos and we will review it carefully.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label.

If the issue is confirmed, we will help arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund depending on the situation and product availability.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be available for unused items, depending on inventory and product condition. Because our bamboo pieces are handmade and naturally varied, exact replacements may not look identical in grain, color, or shape.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, a confirmed defect, or verified transit damage. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned parcels without tracking.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Please allow additional time for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to post the refund.

Non-Returnable Conditions

Items may not be eligible for return or refund if they are used, altered, damaged after delivery, exposed to moisture, improperly stored, missing parts, returned without approval, or returned outside the return window.

Care-Related Damage

Bamboo should be kept dry, ventilated, and away from prolonged moisture or direct heat. Damage caused by soaking, dishwashers, damp storage, outdoor exposure, misuse, or improper care is not considered a manufacturing defect.
